1、 Overview of Upflow Pressure Screen:
The SLS type upward flow pressure screen is a new, energy-saving and efficient equipment for screening recycled paper pulp developed by our company through digestion and absorption of imported prototype technology. Compared with traditional pressure screens, which save more than 30% energy, this equipment is designed with an upward flow structure for the characteristics of impurities in recycled pulp. It is widely used in coarse and fine screening of various waste paper pulp, as well as screening of pulp before paper machines. It has unparalleled good working performance and reliability, and is an updated product of various domestic pressure screens used for recycled pulp treatment.
2、 Working principle
As is well known, impurities in recycled pulp are divided into two parts: light impurities and heavy impurities. The traditional pressure screen is fed from the top and discharged from the bottom, with both light and heavy impurities passing through the entire slurry area. Due to the presence of many hard impurities such as iron nails, ingot box nails, sand and gravel in the recycled cardboard pulp, when these impurities pass through the screening area, they will inevitably cause serious wear and damage to the screening drum and rotor. Serious cases may break the sieve drum. The SLS type upward flow pressure screen adopts an upward flow structure design with bottom slurry inlet, bottom heavy slag discharge, and top light slag discharge, effectively solving the above problems. As soon as heavy impurities enter the body, they are thrown into the bottom sediment tank and intermittently or continuously discharged from the machine through the heavy slag discharge pipe. Light impurities rise to the top slag discharge outlet under pressure and are discharged. In this way, on the one hand, it effectively shortens the residence time of impurities in the screening zone, reduces the possibility of impurity circulation, and improves the screening efficiency; On the other hand, it prevents damage to the rotor and screen drum caused by heavy impurities, extending the service life of the equipment.
