Prospects and advantages of straw fiber extraction and dry pulping
Time:2024-08-30 15:30:40Page views:17

The dry pulping process is a dry pulping process developed by our company after years of research, demonstration, and experimentation, which solves the problem of water. In the past, the papermaking and pulp making process required a large amount of water, which was used to remove slag, wash pulp, and make paper. In addition, chemicals were used to react and hydrate fibers in water to extract fibers and make pulp. This will inevitably lead to an increase in the cost of pulping. For mid to low grade plant fibers, such as fast-growing plants like wheat straw, rice straw, reeds, sugarcane, as well as broad-leaved plants like poplar and eucalyptus, the fibers themselves are short and have low value, which cannot be compared to coniferous wood fibers. (Coniferous wood, such as pine, has a long growth cycle, especially pine wood in Europe, America, and Russia, has excellent fibers due to cold weather and long production time.) Therefore, we need to adopt production processes that reduce production costs, minimize pulp loss, and improve fiber quality to extract fibers and make pulp. Below, I will elaborate on the advantages and disadvantages of dry pulping.

The principle of dry pulping adopts processes such as dry material preparation, dry slag removal, dry dust removal, and dry slag purification to replace the water washing method for material preparation. The advantages of using dry pulping are: firstly, it saves water, reduces the complexity of the process flow, and avoids the occurrence of water treatment costs and water pollution; Secondly, raw materials such as soil and dust that have not been wetted by water are easily separated under the action of equipment such as tapping and blowing. It can also achieve the effect of slag removal and dust removal, ensuring the cleanliness of raw material fibers. After the raw materials that need to be processed are prepared and treated with dust removal, we will add a new type of straw pulping dissociation agent (dissolved water agent) that we have independently developed in proportion. After mixing with a mixing machine, we will use the water content of the chemical additive to soften the straw fibers, which have a certain degree of flexibility. This will prevent the fibers from being crushed and powdery during the later stage of grinding and separation. We also use the heat generated during the grinding process of the grinder as a heat source reaction condition for the additives and fibers. During the crushing and kneading process of the grinding disc, the additives and each fiber absorb more evenly. After numerous grinding and pressing processes, the absorption of additives is more comprehensive. The temperature of the fibers produced after the first rough grinding is between 80-100 degrees. We protect this heat as a temperature condition for the reaction of additives. Depending on the different raw materials and insufficient heat maintenance time, we can supplement the steam heat source appropriately or compensate through electromagnetic heating, which saves about 80% of the heat source energy consumption. The fibers undergo a reaction for 1-2 hours before entering the second mill, where the tapping degree is increased and the lignin in the fibers is squeezed and separated by the crushing and twisting effect of the grinding disc, remaining on the surface of the fibers. At this point, the lignin has undergone denaturation and decomposition, and will not have an oxidative effect on the fibers, ensuring their quality. This is basically the entire principle process of dry pulping. The entire pulping process only uses a small amount of water abrasive additives, resulting in low fiber moisture content, fast heating rate, and long insulation time. The moisture content of the pulp is between 43% and 50%, and the stacking process of finished fibers improves the quality response of the fibers.
